Originally from the landlocked state of Kansas in the USA, I unexpectedly found myself working as a SCUBA instructor for nearly a decade. Living and working in multiple countries and on islands around the world, my love of the marine environment deepened. Creativity, curiosity, and a passion for art have also been constant threads throughout my life and now, as I pursue a the dream of becoming a Scientific Illustrator, my goal is to use art to share the beauty and importance of science, conservation, and discovery with a wider audience.
